In this assignment, we were to design a magazine cover and a Table of Contents to go with it. We were to utilize the principles of typography, hierarchy and layout to represent a real magazine's layout. I focused on color balance, scale, size and spatial representation, harmony, and overall visual unity. I came up with the magazine title, Designer Style, based upon popular fashion magazines. Regarding the late Kate Spade, I geared the magazine around her passing as if there is a main article inside the magazine.
